Halloween Fang Printable Perfect for Class Parties

by Jennifer Wieland
Halloween fang printable perfect for class parties or trick-or-treat handouts!

My two youngest boys love all things Halloween that involve spooky, gory and gross. I wanted to create a printable that I could pair with something that they would find amusing. I also wanted it to be something a little more mature. Something that tweens and teens would be amused by and not find babyish. I came up with the idea for this fun Halloween fang printable that’s perfect for class parties for tweens.

Halloween fang printable perfect for class parties or trick-or-treat handouts!

This printable is a little on the macabre side and not at all cutesy like most of my printables. Since my two youngest boys are getting older though they like less of the cutesy and more of the ghastly and I am oddly fond of this creepy creation. The styles and colors are the perfect blend of classic vampire!

Halloween fang printable perfect for class parties or trick-or-treat handouts!

When I first came up with this idea for this Halloween fang printable when I was strolling through the dollar store. There I spotted bags of individually packaged fangs that also had a pouch of red liquid candy in them so that the plastic fang chompers could look like they’d just been in someone’s neck. I know, maybe it’s a little dark for some kids but I know there are plenty who are a bit older who will get a kick out of them. I can just picture my little monsters trying out their fangs and candy all while trying to say, “I want to suck your blood!” in their best vampire voices.

Are you ready to get your hands on your own set of these printables? Then all you need to do to print out this frighteningly, fun printable or to save this Halloween fang printable PDF file to your computer is to just click on the image below. A new window will open up with the file.

Halloween Mask Gift Idea Plus Printable

by Jennifer Wieland
Halloween Mask Gift Idea Plus Printable - A perfect option for classroom parties or trick-or-treaters with food allergies!

Halloween is right around the corner and that means classroom parties and treats for all the little ghosts and goblins that come knocking on your door as well. With all of the food allergies many schools no longer allow food or candy for class parties and Halloween trick-or-treating leaves many parents of children with food allergies in fear. Today, I am going to share with you an option that goes beyond the standard pencil or eraser that you no doubt, have countless of littering a drawer in your house. How about a Halloween mask gift idea plus printable to jazz it up to set your little monster apart at their class party or make your house the most sought after by food allergy families?

Halloween Mask Gift Idea Plus Printable - A perfect option for classroom parties or trick-or-treaters with food allergies!

This Halloween mask gift idea is such a simple one. If you’ve ever been to a craft store I’m sure that in the children’s section, seasonal area or near the registers you have seen those inexpensive wooden masks that are usually about $1. They are meant to be colored in by kids and you can find them in different varieties year round. This is such a perfect thing to hand out at Halloween since masks go with Halloween just like candy. Even better? Craft stores always have coupons so this can help cut the cost of this already inexpensive idea!Halloween Mask Gift Idea Plus Printable - A perfect option for classroom parties or trick-or-treaters with food allergies!

All of these wooden masks have wooden handles for the children to hold the masks up to their faces and these handles make a great spot for a wraparound printable. I created a simple and fun one to attach to each mask. There is a blank area on the back of each printable for your child to write who the mask is to and from our if you are simply handing these out to trick-or-treaters then you can leave it blank or sign it with your family name.

Fun Pokémon Lunch Box Notes

by Jennifer Wieland
Pokémon Fun Facts and Joke Lunch Box Notes
If your house is anything like mine then you have at least one kid that is Pokémon crazy right now. For me this seems like something I have been dealing with for decades. It’s possible that I should feel that way since that’s because I have hearing all about Pokémon for almost two decades. My oldest is 23 and has been a Pokémon fan since he was five. He got his first Pokémon cards and game way back in 1998 and we waited in line on a day off of school to see the first Pokémon movie the day it came out. Now it’s my three youngest who are all about the Pokémon games, cards and shows. It was because of all of this and with school just starting that I thought it would be perfect to create some fun Pokémon lunch box notes.

Pokémon Fun Facts and Joke Lunch Box Notes

I know you were thinking, “Nearly two decades? Yeah, right!” As you can see though I have definitely got my moneys worth out of that GameBoy Advance SP and the original Pokémon Red game. Six kids later and it’s still working… LOL!

Pokémon Fun Facts and Joke Lunch Box Notes

Some of these Pokémon lunch box notes have fun facts for the budding Pokémon fan. While others have a silly Pokémon joke for your child to share with their friends at lunchtime to get a laugh out of everyone. All of them have Pokémon pictures and a Pokeball motif for the background design.

Pokémon Fun Facts and Joke Lunch Box Notes

It’s super easy to get a set of these for your kids. All you have to do to print off these Pokémon lunch box notes is to click on the image below. That will then open up a printable PDF version of the lunch box notes for you. You can either print them at that time or you can save them for future use.

Teacher Appreciation Gardening Gift Idea Plus Printable

Teacher appreciation is next week. That means it’s time to get creative and find fun and unique ways to show your kid’s teacher(s) how much you appreciate everything they have done throughout the year. I know a lot of teachers who like to garden. In fact one of our local schools has a garden that some of the teachers and staff volunteer in. I thought what would be a fun teacher appreciation gardening gift idea? Why, a garden tool and some special seed packets of course!

What I really love about this idea is that not only is it a gift that would be used and appreciated by a gardening teacher but it’s also VERY budget friendly. Seed packets are cheap and found at all kinds of stores in the spring. Gardening tools are actually a great dollar store find I love.

Wayfair Housewarming Party - Teacher APpreciation Gift Ideas #wayfairhomemaker

It’s hard to believe that the end of another school year is quickly approaching! My kids will soon be moving on from their teachers they currently have and it’s time for me to thank them for the tremendous job they have done for them and the rest of their students this year. Having worked for our school district before and being an executive board member of our PTA I know how hard the school staff work each and every day. That’s why when I got to host and pick what I wanted to do for a Wayfair Housewarming Party I knew I wanted to focus on teacher appreciation gift ideas. Teacher Appreciation Day is May 3rd this year or you can always just wait and hand them out at the end of the school year. Either way, your child’s teacher will definitely appreciate these gift ideas.

Being a printable lover, foodie, baker and all around sweets junkie I have some fun and easy ideas from past years here on My Sweet Sanity but I am also going to share some awesome ideas from some of the other Wayfair Homemakers as well.

I absolutely adore this idea as a teacher appreciation gift! It’s inexpensive, your child can do it themselves and it’s so functional! Your child can let their artistic side come through with this project. Plus with all the warm weather everyone knows how much cups sweat so this would be a great way to help a teacher protect their desk and all the papers they have on it.

Candle Jar Succulent Garden from Wife in Progress

I am a huge fan of crafts that recycle or upcycle things that would be normally tossed into the trash and end up at some landfill. I also happen to burn a lot of candles here and am excited to give this a try not just as a teacher gift but for me as well. As for a teacher gift succulents in small planters like this are a great way to gift some greenery to a garden loving teacher with pots small enough for her to keep in class near the windows.

Teacher Appreciation Printable Gift Tag and Tea Gift Idea from My Sweet Sanity

I am a tea drinker and I know there are a lot of others that love the stuff as well. Last year I created this adorable lemon slice gift tag printable to attach to an insulated cup filled with different teas and sweeteners. This is a fun and useful idea because who couldn’t use an insulated cup especially a teacher when there are still many schools across the country without air conditioners. This will definitely help keep a teacher hydrated.

Kid’s Birthday Party Photo Booth Plus a Photo Frame Craft #StickaPic

by Jennifer Wieland
Kid's Birthday Party Photo Booth and Photo Frame Craft with HP Social Media Snapshots Photo Paper #StickaPic
As an HP Smart Mom Panel member, I received free products in order to host the HP #StickaPic Party. The opinions expressed here are my own.

Kid’s birthday parties used to be a thing of simplicity. A few simple games, some food, presents and cake and you were done and out of the woods as the mom throwing the party. Now though, birthday parties have gotten bigger, fancier and have more to do than ever before. So what’s a mom to do to try to keep up with all of this without breaking the family bank? Why, have your own kid’s birthday party photo booth plus a photo frame craft with HP Social Media Snapshots Photo Paper

Kid's Birthday Party Photo Booth and Photo Frame Craft with HP Social Media Snapshots Photo Paper #StickaPic

I recently had my nephew’s first birthday party and it was mustache themed. Since all of the cousins were coming and were older, I wanted to give them a fun and entertaining craft project to do at the party. Lucky for me HP was kind enough to get my party planning craft idea in gear with some supplies.

Kid's Birthday Party Photo Booth and Photo Frame Craft with HP Social Media Snapshots Photo Paper #StickaPic

I decided I would setup my HP Envy 5540 printer and create a makeshift photo booth for the kid’s to get their pictures taken with hat, beard & mustache props.

Kid's Birthday Party Photo Booth and Photo Frame Craft with HP Social Media Snapshots Photo Paper #StickaPic

Then I printed out the photos for the guests. I used my cell phone to take the pictures and then printed the pictures to my HP Envy 5540 printer since it’s wireless. I used the Social Media Snapshots app on my phone to print. This app is available on both iOS and Android devices and can pull pics from your social media apps with captions.

My little niece waiting very patiently for her picture.

The HP Social Media Snapshots Photo Paper is sticker paper so it’s easy to peel and stick for kids.

I made a photo frame craft by using chipboard albums I had found at Michael’s. They were perfect since they would fit the photos and already had two holes in them to run ribbon or twine through to hang them up viagra for women

I cut off the bottom, white area of the photos before the kids stuck them to the chipboard. The kids then stuck the pictures of themselves onto the chipboard and then decorated them with stickers, paint markers and glitter glue.

They then ran ribbon or twine through the wholes and tied it and BOOM! They had an adorable gift to keep or give mom and dad.

End of School Year Ice Pop Gift Idea with Cute Printable

by Jennifer Wieland
End of School Year Ice Pop Gift Idea and Cute Printable

With multiple kids in elementary school it would be so easy to tell them that they are all going to be giving out the same end of school year gift to their classmates but my creative juices won’t allow me to do that. I like coming up with and creating fun little ways to adorn gifts. I didn’t do it with my older kids when they were little but back then I was allowed to bake treats or at least buy them for the class. Since that is no longer an option in our district I like to fancy up the gifts with a cute little note or card. I think it makes what could be a dull gift to a child into something with more personality and appeal. I think that this end of school year ice pop gift idea with cute printable is just one fun way to get small children excited and ready to make something fun in the kitchen this summer.

End of School Year Ice Pop Gift Idea and Cute Printable

I love getting into the kitchen with my kids and making ice pops during the summer is such a fun and easy way to get creative, spend time together and end it all with a tasty treat! My daughter is finishing up kindergarten and she will be giving these out to her friends. I think they are fun and different from the standard chalk, bubbles and pencils that are given out. I found these ice pop molds at Walmart and they were only 88¢ each. That’s a pretty inexpensive gift for each child.

End of School Year Water Balloon Gift Idea With Printable

by Jennifer Wieland
This is a fun idea for an End of School Year Gift for kids in your child's class. The fun comicbook theme is a fun design. #free #printable

I can’t believe it’s the end of the school year already but at the same time I am so happy that it’s here. Maybe I’m more excited about this year since I work at one of the schools in my district this year. So just like the kids I am excited about more time to do what I want and less time doing work. Every year though I do like to come up with little gifts for my kids to hand out to their classmates. It seems though that all you ever see for this online is ideas for bubbles or chalk. I wanted to do something different this year and I have. In fact, I came up with three different ideas and will be sharing each of them with you in coming days. Today though I will be sharing an end of school year water balloon idea with printable. This is a fun idea for an End of School Year Gift for kids in your child's class. The fun comicbook theme is a fun design. #free #printable

It’s pretty safe to say that I am a nerdy, geeky girl. I own that about me and am proud of it and flaunt it. In fact one of my recent posts gave me the idea for this printable. I am a huge Marvel fan and love comic books. I’m that parent that encourages her children to read them and graphic novels. So one day it just came to me that water balloons are such a great summertime thing plus they get the kids outside and playing but since you the play involves throwing stuff at each other it made me think of comic books. Of course that meant that I had to design a printable to use to hand them out that looked like comic book cells.

To make these fun little gifts with your kids for their classmates all you need to do is download the free printable and print it out. Click on any of the pictures to download the printable.

This is a fun idea for an End of School Year Gift for kids in your child's class. The fun comicbook theme is a fun design. #free #printable Once the printables are printed and cutout all you need to fill is fill snack size baggies with water balloons and spouts. (I found two packs at Walmart. Each one had 50 balloons and a spout and was only 97¢ for the two. That makes this a really affordable gift idea.) Then fold the printables in half lengthwise and place the sealed top of the baggies in between the front and the back of the printable and staple. That’s it! Your kids now have a fun gift for their friends in class.

This is a fun idea for an End of School Year Gift for kids in your child's class. The fun comicbook theme is a fun design. #free #printable

At less than 75¢ a child this works out to be an affordable gift that will get kids outside to play.

This post is part of a sponsored campaign with MyPrintly and MomSelect. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I love the school district my kids are in! It is a great district for special needs families. The schools and staff always go above and beyond to help and often are the first requesting additional services for kids. That is great because i know many parents that are in different districts with special needs children and they have to fight tooth and nail to get anything. I really love gifting the teachers and teacher’s aides with thank you gifts at the end of the year on the last day of school. However, having three kids that have IEP’s means that each one has more than one teacher, aides and therapists for different reasons. So I wish I could get each and every one of them an unbelievably amazing gift each year sadly that is just not a financial option for us or most families like ours. Fifteen to twenty gifts has to be done in a reasonable price range for us. This year, my youngest son Jackson will be gifting all of his teachers and aides with insulated cups filled with teas, sweeteners, and other convenience cold drink options. These useful gifts are then being adorned with these super cute end of year teacher gift tag printables.

Teacher Appreciation Day Candy Bar Wrapper Printable

by Jennifer Wieland
Free Printable Teacher Appreciation Day Candy Bar Wrapper

Teacher Appreciation Day is this week and teachers definitely deserve some appreciation. This year besides doing the blog here I have also worked as a recess supervisor at the school my two youngest kids go to. I know first hand how much school staff goes through day in and day out to help your kids learn and grow. In my district though most parents do end of year gifts instead of Teacher Appreciation Day gifts. This is what I plan to do but I also want to give them something on Teacher Appreciation Day that will let them know that I am thinking of them and how much they do each day and how a sugar and caffeine boost midday can make all the difference in the world. Also, since I have three kids in elementary school and all of them are on IEPs they see a lot of teachers each week between them all. That’s why I designed these Teacher Appreciation Day Candy Bar Wrapper Printables. It’s a quick, easy and inexpensive way to let your child’s teachers know that you appreciate all they do.

Free Printable Teacher Appreciation Day Candy Bar Wrapper

Since these were designed to go to teachers I went with the obvious and classic, green school chalkboard motif. The front detail looks like early elementary lined paper with a thank you blurb in a child-like script.

Free Printable Teacher Appreciation Day Candy Bar Wrapper

The back side when wrapped has a message wishing them a happy Teacher Appreciation Day in a bolder font. Both fonts were done in a pale yellow to replicate the old school yellow chalk that used to be in so many classrooms back in the day. I also added the standard apples on for embellishment.

Free Printable Teacher Appreciation Day Candy Bar Wrapper

It’s quick and easy to make these. All you have to do is print out the free printable, cut them out, wrap them around a candy bar, tape and you are done and ready to gift. To download the printable just click HERE.

Do you have a gift you like to give your kid’s teachers?
