Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and as a parent and PTA board member I know that means class parties are in my future. Our school district does not allow food treats during parties so it is always a challenge to find something to do that doe snot involve pencils, erasers or the like. I’m sure these Classroom Valentine’s Day Card Gift Idea – Watercolor Art sets will be a hit with the kids and the parents.
Since I’m in the Chicago suburbs our kids spend a lot of time cooped up during the winter months due to all of the cold and snow. It’s always important to have things on hand that can help stave off the boredom of a cold, gray and snowy day. My kids love being able to make crafts or create art projects and so do most kids. That’s why I thought the idea of watercolor sets would be fun!
I was able to snag these watercolor sets for only 58¢ a pop at Target when all of the back-to-school supplies went on clearance. Each set comes with a paintbrush and the adorable Valentine’s Day card I created fits nicely over it. There are numerous places you can get watercolor sets for less than a dollar.
