In the last few weeks on a couple of sites I have seen people selling kid’s punch cards for chores, reading and kindness and I thought they were a great idea. Some were more creative than others in the appearance but I liked the idea of these cards better than a chart. I also like that the kids can then be responsible for their own cards and have to keep track of it if they want to get their reward when it is all punched.
The one thing that I did not like about these cards is that the people I saw selling these were selling them from $1.99 – $4.99 for 15 cards. Sometimes the cards came in an assortment or sometimes you just got one type of card for that price. Then you also had to pay shipping on them too. Which was coming in around $1.99 for most. Is it me or is all that kind of pricey for a card you could easily just print at home for much less? I thought it was and decided to create a set of free printable kid’s chore, reading & kindness reward punch cards for my readers that they could use with their own kids and only need to print and cut.
I decided on my designs and I think that they came out really cute! I then printed them out on card stock and cut them out. Each sheet will have three of each of the designs on it. The kids are going to be using these here from now on and I hope they help to motivate them to get their work done and reach their rewards. Just click the link below and you can print off your own set.
