North Pole Naughty or Nice Behavior Chart

You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout I’m telling you why… Santa Claus is coming to town. Now we all know he makes a list and he checks it twice because he has to find out who’s naughty or nice. This year mom and dad can help Santa make his list making easier with the North Pole Naughty or Nice Behavior Chart. Everyone starts out in the neutral area of “or” and if they are not so good or nice during the day then you can have them move their clips up to naughty. Now if they are good little boys or girls you can have them move their clip down to nice by Santa Claus. The chart even has a clip by Santa just in case he wants to pass along a note to a child to cheer on their nice behavior or warn them about naughty behavior instead.

Cut the red and green scrapbook paper to fit around the board and glue into place making sure the papers go to the ends of the board. There may be a small gap between the two papers in the middle and that is fine.

Next cut out a 3″ x 6″ and a 2″ x 6″ piece of white paper. Glue the 3″ piece around the bottom of the board on the green end. Glue the 2″ piece around the middle of the board to cover where the red and green almost meet.

Cut out a 1″ x 6″ piece of black paper and a 5-6″ circle from the white paper. Glue the white circle to the top of the board at the end of the red. Only about an inch of the circle should be glued to the board. At the bottom of the circle, and slightly overlapping glue the black piece of paper around the board.

Glue your Santa Claus to the bottom of the chart onto the 3″ white strip. Place him so that it looks like he is standing on snow. That means half of him will be on the white paper and the other half will be on the green paper.

Using your letter stickers spell out North Pole on the white circle, naughty on the red, or on the 2″ white strip in the middle and nice onto the green.

Use some more letter stickers (small ones) to spell out the kid’s names and mail onto to clothespins.

Finish the whole project up by gluing the mail clip below Santa Claus. Attach the name clips onto or and print or write out a little note from Santa Claus to get it started.
