Teacher appreciation is next week. That means it’s time to get creative and find fun and unique ways to show your kid’s teacher(s) how much you appreciate everything they have done throughout the year. I know a lot of teachers who like to garden. In fact one of our local schools has a garden that some of the teachers and staff volunteer in. I thought what would be a fun teacher appreciation gardening gift idea? Why, a garden tool and some special seed packets of course!
What I really love about this idea is that not only is it a gift that would be used and appreciated by a gardening teacher but it’s also VERY budget friendly. Seed packets are cheap and found at all kinds of stores in the spring. Gardening tools are actually a great dollar store find I love.
tape or glue
gardening tools or gloves
Print the seed packet printable and cut out the envelopes on the black lines.
Once the envelopes are cut out, take a seed packet and fold down about 1/2″ at the top. Tape to hold in place. turn one of the cut out envelopes over and place a seed packet on the back side.
Fold the edges to form the envelope and then tape or glue the edges.
Your seed packet is now nicely wrapped in a thank you to teacher. Now you will also be able to feel that there is a place at the top where you can safely punch a whole.
Once you have the whole punched you can thread some twine through and tie it to a gardening tool or pair of gloves.
Do you have any inexpensive or creative teacher appreciation gift ideas?
