Easy Bunny Wreath

by Jennifer Wieland

Easter sort of sneaked up on me this year. I had so many recipes and crafts planned for the blog for Easter that will never make it on here in time this year. Oh well, I guess it will make it easier next year. That’s what happens though when you are completely wound up and excited about a cruise, getting ready for said cruise and then going on the cruise. I’m not going to lie, I could have gotten some more work in this past week but I have really had a hard time getting back in the swing of things. That Royal Caribbean cruise with all of the other bloggers was just what the doctor ordered for me in the rest and relaxation department. So what if I came back a little to relaxed. I’ll get it together eventually, but in the meantime I am slowly chugging along while enjoying my tan and going through photos.

Anyway… I did want to make sure I got this one craft up though. I have been meaning to make this for weeks. The supplies were all sitting out just waiting for me to get busy with it but I kept getting sidetracked. I did manage to buckle down though today and get it done and I am super happy with how cute my Easy Bunny Wreath turned out be. This is a perfect last-minute craft to decorate your house with for Easter and it comes together very quickly.

Grapevine garland
Grapevine wreath(s) (optional as you can just use the garland)
Wire cutters
Brown covered wire
Wired ribbon

Unroll the grapevine garland and find the two largest loops and cut it from the rest of the garland. Take the two next largest loops and cut it off as well. Shape those into a bow without the tails and use the wire to secure it into the shape.

Next attach the ears to a grapevine wreath or make one from the remaining garland. This will be the head of the bunny. I personally used an 8″ grapevine wreath for the head. I then took the two largest loops from the garland that I had cut off earlier and used those to make the largest circle, body of the bunny. I secured everything together with the wire and made a loop to hang it from where the ears and head met. Tie a bow around the neck and you are done.
