Glitzi Globes & Trash Packs a Great Food Alternative For Parties

Glitzi Globes & Trash Packs

I was provided with samples of Glitzi Globes and Trash Packs from Moose Toys to distribute for Halloween as a candy alternative.

In this day and age of peanut, dairy, gluten and other food allergies and with many schools banning food treats from class parties it is nice to have another option for kids. An option that is something that they actually like, want and enjoy when they receive it. Enter Glitzi Globes and Trash Packs. These mini collectible toys and trading cards for girls and boys are a fun way to provide children with a treat that is not laden with sugar and takes the worry out of what if a child has an allergy.

Glitzi Globes & Trash Packs

On Halloween I was able to hand out Glitzi Globes and Trash Packs at a class party and to trick-or-treaters. These were a huge hit with all of the kids! I used them as party prizes in a class party and my nine-year old son came up to me and said, “Mom, I think everyone really likes the toys!” He was right too. All the kids were trying to win at Bingo to get one. Luckily, by the last classroom game of toilet paper mummies everyone was able to pick one. The kids hurriedly opened them up and everyone was showing each other what was in their package.

The Trash Packs also had trading cards. So the boys had trading cards and they also received the Trash Pack itself which contains a trash can with a little trash monster inside. The Glitzi Globes come with everything to make a cute, little snow globe including a different little figure in each one for the middle of the snow globe.

Moose Toys Trick-or-Treating

These were so popular that even though it rained here all day long on Halloween our house quickly became a must stop trick-or-treat stop. The kids were excited about getting a toy instead of candy. I even had a group of boys look in their bags to see what I dropped in and look up with the oldest exclaiming, “God bless you!”

These are not just for Halloween though. These would make a great treat for classroom winter parties or a great stocking stuffer. You could also add them in birthday party treat bags, hand out at church events or holiday parties.

These look so cool! What a fun idea for school functions – I’ll have to remember these next time we do goodie bags for a party, too.

I have heard a lot of people are switching to toys, pencils, and other small odds and ends as an alternative to candy. Wonderful idea!!

I sent these in for my children to handout to their classmates on Halloween because their school has a strict no-sweets policy. My 9yr old son said his classmates were so happy, he even got a few hugs. 😛
