The Irish are known for their aptitude in drinking but even some of us with some Irish blood flowing through our veins are what is commonly referred to as a lightweight when it comes to drinking. I fully own that I am a fruity, girly drinking mess. Shots of whiskey… No thanks, I’ll pass. A pint of Guinness Beer? Are you out of your mind? Something with booze that doesn’t seem like booze? Now, my curiosity is peaked. So how about some Irish Car Bomb Pudding Shots? Oh yeah! Now that’s my speed.
Jello shots have been around for quite a long time now and are always wildly popular at parties! They always add some fun and tasty whimsy to a party. Now imagine that with pudding instead and needing a spoon to eat a creamy treat that is packed full of some kick.
These Irish Car Bomb Pudding Shots are easy to make, have two different puddings, three types of booze and chocolate sauce to really make these the talk of your get together.
Taking my cue from my Irish Car Bomb Cupcakes I decided to use the same flavors and make them mini and delicious for some St. Patrick’s Day fun. The plays of alcohol, chocolate and vanilla really makes for a tasty treat that packs quite the little punch.

- 1 3.4 oz. box of chocolate instant pudding
- 1 c. milk
- 3/4 c. Guinness Draught
- 4 oz. Cool Whip
- 1 3.4 oz box of French vanilla instant pudding
- 1 c. milk
- 3/4 c. Bailey's Irish Cream
- 4 oz. Cool Whip
- 1/3 c. chocolate sauce
- 2 tsp. Jameson Whiskey
- In a large mixing bowl stir together the chocolate pudding mix, Guinness and milk. Once combined fold in the Cool Whip.
- In another large mixing bowl stir together the french vanilla pudding mix, Bailey's Irish Cream and milk. Once combined fold in the Cool Whip.
- In a small bowl stir together the chocolate sauce and whiskey.
- Place each pudding mix into a large plastic baggie. Snip one of the corners on each bag and squeeze equal amounts of each pudding flavor into shot glasses. Spoon some of the chocolate sauce over the top.
- Chill, serve and enjoy!

[…] like a Jello shot, you can just use your tongue to get all of the goodness of the pudding shot. My Sweet Sanity also recommends using a spoon if you want, but I think it can be fun to get a little messy here and […]
