Skip the check with these 10 Cheesecake Factory copycat recipes.

Let’s be honest. Enjoying a meal out at a nice restaurant with food that you love is a real treat for anyone who is the cook in the family. Being able to have a night off while others do all the prep work, cooking, serving and clean up is a nice, little treat. What I don’t like though is when they set the check down after the meal. It inevitably makes me think, I could have made this for so much less at home. Now you can have the best of both worlds. You can get the restaurant meals you love without the check at the end of the meal with these 10 Cheesecake Factory Copycat Recipes.

With a menu packed full of so many food options Cheesecake Factory is a favorite place with my family because everyone can always find something they want. Whether you want a hearty sandwich, a pasta dish, some meat or lighter, healthier fare they have it. The menu is so extensive that just trying to pick a dessert can be mind-boggling.

Our local Cheesecake Factory is in a shopping mall. After our shopping trips we’ll often just pop in to grab a slice of cheesecake or one of their other decadent desserts. If you’ve never been to Cheesecake Factory one of the best things about it is all of their delicious desserts. This list of Cheesecake Factory copycat recipes does not disappoint! Now you can have all your favorites anytime you want them.

Keto-Friendly Salsa Verde Avocado Chicken Salad

by Jennifer Wieland
Celebrate Las Posadas this year with this Keto-Friendly Salsa Verde Avocado Chicken Salad.

Many nations, races and religions have different ways to celebrate the holiday season. A lesser known holiday in parts of the U.S. is Las Posadas. This is a nine day celebration that is celebrated in Mexico and in parts of Southwestern United States. Las Posadas originated in Spain and the word Posada translates to English to mean hotel or inn. It is a holiday that lasts nine days, from December 16th – 24th and is celebrated by Hispanics of the Catholic and Protestant religions. Family members are chosen to dress up as Joseph and Mary each night. The procession is lead by someone carrying a candle and a house is visited by the procession. Someone answers at the house and they sing a song and let the procession enter. The group then gathers around the nativity to pray. It is done for nine nights to represent the nine months of pregnancy.

Las Posadas is a lovely holiday that brings religion back to focus into the Christmas season. With so many people only thinking of Santa and gifts it’s so easy to lose sight of what’s important and what the true reason for the season is for Christians. Spending time with family and friends and sharing food is a wonderful way to enjoy the holiday season for nine days.

Celebrate Las Posadas this year with this Keto-Friendly Salsa Verde Avocado Chicken Salad.

This year to celebrate Las Posadas I wanted to create a meal that I could eat. I have been following a Keto diet since the beginning of November. For those of you that don’t know what a Keto diet is, it’s a low-carb high-fat diet. It’s been shown to drastically help with a number of health issues and has the added benefit of helping people lose weight.

Celebrate Las Posadas this year with this Keto-Friendly Salsa Verde Avocado Chicken Salad.

I used HERDEZ® Salsa Verde for my inspiration for an easy Las Posadas recipe. I then bought the rest of my ingredients and made this Keto-Friendly Salsa Verde Avocado Chicken Salad. I used the HERDEZ® Salsa Verde to create both a marinade for the chicken and a dressing for the salad.

Fruit Salad Dressing made with Yoplait Greek 100

Fruit Salad Dressing made with Yoplait Greek 100
Thank you to Yoplait for sponsoring today’s post and for inspiring me to try Yoplait Greek 100!

It’s a new year and like so many I have resolved to try to get healthy this year by eating better. That’s no easy task for a girl who likes to bake and thinks that butter should be its own food group. I knew setting out to try to get healthy that I was going to need to up my produce consumption. Like many I was not eating nearly enough fruit and veggies. The problem for me is not that I don’t like them, I do. My problem is that I prefer them raw. The issues with that though is that while you can add dressing to a salad easily most of the time raw fruit is just that… fruit. Now you can whip up a quick fruit salad but again that’s usually just plain old fruit and while it tastes good it gets old quickly. To change-up my fruit salad I created a Fruit Salad Dressing made with Yoplait Greek 100.

Fruit Salad Dressing made with Yoplait Greek 100

Making this Fruit Salad Dressing with Yoplait Greek 100 was a no brainer for me. With 100 calories, 0% fat and 10-12 grams of protein Yoplait Greek 100 is a dieters dream. It’s a perfect snack or a great item to incorporate into your healthier meals. I like that I can make a big fruit salad and a double or triple batch of this fruit salad dressing and then I have a quick breakfast or snack all ready to go. Yoplait Greek 100 is available in 20 different flavors so I can easily change-up this Fruit Salad Dressing just by using a different flavor. You can’t get much easier than that in the healthy eating world.
